Job Title: Pregnancy Counselor
Email Address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Favorite Bible Verse: Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Favorite Adoption Story: In 2013 I began working with a woman that became one of my most precious friends. She had recently received, through foster care, a set of siblings that were just the most precious children in the world. After five years of hurtling obstacles, she and her husband were finally able to adopt. They have continued to grow their family since then by adopting two more precious babies that are full of joy and laughter. Being part of their lives, I get to see the true blessings of adoption.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree of Social Work from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga
Responsibilities: As a Pregnancy Counselor, I counsel and educate expectant parents who are considering adoption. I assist them throughout their adoption journey by helping them make a hospital plan, connect them to resources, facilitate match meetings between the expectant parents and prospective adoptive parents, and offer continual support. Maintaining relationships with pregnancy centers and hospitals can assure everyone in the process they’re getting the care they deserve.
