Dear Birthmother,Tracy and Kristy

We are Tracy, Kristy, and Cam, and we are so excited about expanding our family through adoption. We are humbled by your decision and hope to fulfill your desire of finding a loving family for your child. As you review our book, you may wonder what we could possibly have in common and why you should even consider our family. We are being drawn together by situations that possibly neither of us had predicted. You are carrying a child that you hadn’t planned for but you do love that child so much that you are seeking what is best for the baby. My husband, Tracy; our son, Cam; and I feel our family is incomplete and we want to offer the love and nurturing that our family can provide for a child. We are so excited that you are taking the time to share our book and get to know a little about us.

In the beginning…..
Tracy and I met in June of 1996. Tracy had just graduated from high school and I was going into my senior year. What brought us together – our love for cars. We were married in May 2000 and each year since then, we have grown closer together. Our initial plans were to have a large family.

Along came Cam…..
In March 2002, we were blessed by the birth of our son, Cam. Due to complications during birth, we learned we would not be able to biologically have other children but have always believed God may have other plans for our family. We have cherished each stage of Cam’s life so far and would love to experience the development and wonder of another child.

Our backgrounds…..
Tracy grew up in a small town surrounded by cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. He loved playing baseball, but it was through his participation in a high school program, V.I.C.A., he discovered his gift and love for repairing vehicles. This talent has led Tracy into a successful career for the last 16 years as a Master Certified Automotive Technician.

I grew up in a very close knit family with one older sister. My father was in the military, so we moved around every four years throughout my childhood. Though moving seemed difficult at times, it made for an exciting childhood I wouldn’t trade for anything. After graduating high school, I continued on to college for a certificate in Machining Technology. Once I was married and had Cam, I became a full time stay-at-home Mom.

Cam – now what can we say about Cam? He is a smart, well-adjusted 10 year old who loves legos and transformers. Cam and his dad often spend time together watching Star Wars movies and building trains.

As a family we enjoy boating, water skiing, wake boarding, and traveling. We our very close to our families and we take exciting, fun-filled family vacations with our parents and siblings to places like Disneyworld, Legoland, and Sea World. We are active members in our church and have held positions of treasurer, nursery staff, usher, children’s church leader, and youth leader.

We have always wanted a large family and feel privileged and blessed that God is allowing us to offer a wholesome, loving, and stable environment for another child. We hope this book will give you a glimpse into our lives. Please know we have the utmost respect for you and wish you peace in your decision. We would love to meet with you, if that is your desire. Tracy and I are also willing to maintain a relationship with you even after the baby is born. If you select us as parents, we would be happy to send you pictures and letters through private email or keep in contact through the agency to let you know what the child is doing at each age. Of course, we also want to respect your privacy and the life ahead of you. We wish you the best, whatever your decision. Tracy and I realize that it is a difficult time in your life. We do care and are willing to help.
