Sponsor a Child at Tender Hearts Baby's Home!

Uganda has long been known as one of the most troubled nations in the world. But through the efforts of many people and organizations, it seems a new day has come for this beautiful African country. Building on the progress that others have worked so hard to accomplish, Nightlight is humbled by the opportunity God has presented us to begin ministering in Uganda. We are motivated by Isaiah 6:8 which says: "And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?' Then I said, 'Here am I! Send me.'"

Working in partnership with Heart of a Child Uganda, a non-governmental organization, we have helped establish Tender Hearts Orphanage in Kampala, the capital of Uganda. Tender Hearts is now licensed and is accepting babies and toddlers who are now receiving loving care.

 

There are many opportunities for you to partner with this new ministry. Through mission trips and gifts of your financial resources, you can make a difference to these children who need our love and prayers. Select and sponsor a particular child for $20 per month. We would love to get at least 20 families to sponsor each child - this will help cover the daily expenses of running the Tender Hearts Home — supplies for the babies, wages for the caregivers, utilities, food, etc. Your support will enable this ministry to succeed in helping many abandoned children.
