We have been married for 14 years. We were actually high school sweethearts so we’ve been together for a little more than 20 years. We are soul mates and the best of friends. Ruben and I always dreamed of becoming parents. After 9 years of trying to get pregnant, including the help of fertility specialists, we have been unsuccessful. We strongly believe that everything happens for a reason and that God has led us here with his own plan. Therefore, we are sure the decision to adopt is the right one. We live in Diamond Bar, CA with our little dog of 10 years Coco in a 3 bedroom home. We live on a cul-de-sac and have a large front and back yard. Our neighborhood is safe, filled with lots of families and small children. It’s a wonderful environment for a child to grow up in. There is also a community center that offers swimming, dance, volleyball, tennis and basketball lessons. Our community is very close knit. We have trips, neighborhood watch programs, luau’s and other activities. We love living here and our neighbors are like family to us. We often get together with them for barbeques or to go out to dinner. Diamond Bar is part of the Walnut Valley school district which is one of the best in California. This is one of the reasons we chose this neighborhood.
About Angela (by Ruben) Angela was born to take care of others and would be a wonderful mother. She always puts her needs 2nd to accommodate the feelings and needs of others. She loves spending time with our nieces and nephews. She is also the Godmother to five children. She is a child at heart and she loves going to Disneyland every chance she gets. She’s the one on both sides of our family who goes all out for holidays, whether it be baking or decorating. Angela’s favorite holiday is Christmas. She decorates every single room in our house and our front yard is always the best decorated in the neighborhood. She can’t wait to have a child of our own to share these times with. Angela works from home as a loan processor and notary public. She has been in the mortgage business for 12 years. Angela comes from a large family and family is very important to her. Your baby will become part of this family and will be loved by all. Angela is my soul mate because of her inner soul and beauty. I know that she will always be there for me, you and your baby. About Ruben (by Angela) I am so in love with Ruben. He is one in a million and I feel truly blessed to have him in my life. He is my best friend, he’s kind, gentle and a thoughtful man. Ruben has a terrific sense of humor. He makes me and everyone else laugh all the time. Ruben always looks for and sees the best in people. He loves to play and watch sports and his favorite teams are the Dodgers, Lakers and Raiders. He has played baseball since he was 7 years old and still plays softball. He has also taken up golf and loves to play any chance he gets. He served honorably in the Marine Corps for five years. Ruben has worked in the sales industry for the last 11 years. He loves his job and excels at it because he loves working with people. His job also provides him with a very flexible schedule that will also enable him to spend quality time with our child. He is always there for his friends, family, and especially me. I know Ruben will be an amazing father. Together we enjoy spending time with family, especially our nieces, nephews and Godchildren. We go camping (we go to Yosemite once a year), fishing, traveling (we’ve visited 19 different states so far), we’ve had Lakers season tickets and go to many Dodger games. We have Disneyland season tickets and go often. Usually we just like going out to dinner together and catching a movie. We admire the courage you are using as you seek the right family.
