Dear Birthparent(s):

We are Jim, Beverly & Christian

Thank you for considering us as your baby’s adoptive family. We can only imagine how concerned you are about the future well-being of your baby and our hearts are with you as you choose a family for your precious child.

Jim was born and raised in Southern California. He is the middle of three children with an older brother and a younger sister. His mother, brother and sister, as well as their families, all reside in Southern California and are all very close. His younger sister has three children and we frequently celebrate birthdays, holidays, sporting and school events together.

Jim graduated from California State University, Long Beach. He worked at various jobs before deciding to attend law school. He graduated from Western State University, College of Law and passed the California State Bar Exam. He currently works as the managing attorney in a Southern California law office. Although his job keeps him quite busy, he loves being a dad to C.J. and spending time with his family. He loves the outdoors, reading, the movies and computers.

Beverly was born and raised in New York City, New York in a close knit Catholic family. She is the elder of two sisters. Her parents are happily married and reside in New Jersey. Unfortunately, her mother is ill and cannot travel so we only get to visit when we travel back East. Fortunately, we are able to travel back East two to three times a year to spend time with Beverly’s family and give her mom lots of hugs.

Bev’s dad is a doting grandfather and often travels with us. Our trips together include a cruise to Canada, trips to Reno, Washington, D.C. and London, England, Paris, France and recently, Rome, Florence and Venice Italy.

Beverly works from home for a large aerospace company in Southern California. She loves being a mom and being home with her child every day. She also enjoys movies, theater, music and outdoor activities.

Jim and Beverly met at work, fell in love and were married in 1996. We are truly the best of friends and do everything together. As our life together grew, we acquired a home and added two vizsla puppies. Casey and Royal are now 6 years old and great dogs. Casey is always carrying something in his mouth while Royal always wants to be in your lap. They love to run, play, hike, fetch and cuddle. You are never alone when you have a vizsla.

As our life together developed, we learned we could not naturally conceive children. For five long years, we committed all our resources to having a family; first through medicine and then through adoption. Finally, Christian James entered our life.

Christian James was a gift from God. He was born on February 14, 2003. From that day forward, our lives have never been the same. It was as though the missing piece of our life together was found. We are having the time of our life with him and can’t imagine our life without him. He is a beautiful baby boy. He is affectionate and loving. He is now two and fascinated with trucks, trains, cars and airplanes. He loves the dogs and they love him. When C.J. first arrived, the dogs were very protective of him and now they love playing with him.

We love being a family and do everything together. We travel together and often travel with our extended family. We enjoy entertaining in our home. We have game parties, barbeques, family and holiday celebrations together. We also attend picnics and sporting events together.

We are part of a wonderful church community and attend mass weekly. We love hobbies like camping, hiking, biking and the theater.

We have been truly blessed by getting the opportunity to share our passions, our experiences and our love with Christian. Our hope and prayer now is to add another member to our family to share our love. Christian would love a brother or a sister and we long to welcome a new member to our family. We truly feel privileged to be parents and adoption has been a miracle for our family.

We have a tremendous amount of respect for a parent who chooses an adoption plan for her baby. We will always share and convey positive feelings about your decision, so that your child knows your unselfish love for him or her.

Your child’s questions will be answered truthfully and with respect for your privacy – any adoption will be as open as is comfortable for all of us. We want an adoption arrangement that feels comfortable for you both now and in the future. Our prayers are with you. We wish you peace with the decision you make for your child.

We would be happy to tell you more and answer any questions or concerns that you may have. We are represented by Nightlight Christian Adoptions. If you want more information about us or would like to meet us, please contact Nightlight at 888.933.2237.

Sincerely,

Jim, Beverly & Christian
