Dear Birthmother, We thank you for taking the time to consider us as the family for your child. We admire the courage; strength and dedication that you have made to make sure your child has a good, loving, stable home. You have already made a very difficult decision and we would love to make it as easy as possible for you and your baby. Jerry and I have been happily married for 15 years and have always desired to have a family of our own. We both come from good loving families. We have tried to have our own children, but after a few attempts of infertility treatments we have been unsuccessful. We are turning to you with the hope of adoption to fulfill our dreams of becoming the parents we have dreamed of. Jerry and I live in a great neighborhood in Southern Ca.; the school district is one of the best in California. In our neighborhood we all know each other and get together for BBQ’s and other events, also every year we have a cul-de sac block party. Jerry is a Marketing Manager for PepsiCo Foodservice Division and I work for TeamHealth Anesthesia Management Services (THAMS), my company manages all aspects of Anesthesia Medical Groups in several states in the country. We are financially stable and ready to start our own family. Jerry works from home and once the baby arrives I will become a work from home mom as well. Jerry was born and raised in NY and I was born in Tijuana, Mexico and raised partially in Los Angeles, Ca and Tijuana, Mex. We met in NY in 1989 while I was working and living there, and as soon as I met him I knew he was the one for me. We are loving and caring people, and we both have a good sense of humor. Jerry and I met the last two weeks I was in NY and shortly after that he moved to Southern CA. We got married in March of 1991 and moved back to NY, and five years later we came back to Southern CA. with the hopes of starting a family of our own. We now have two cats that we adopted a year ago after we lost our 22 year old cat, Freddy; their names are Nero and Sebastian. Nero is a typical cat that keeps to him self and Sebastian is more like a dog, he loves to be around people and loves the attention. Jerry and I have a beautiful 2 story home in a cul-de-sac with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms; and a great big yard with a swimming pool. We love to entertain, especially in the summer time; we have a great circle of friends. We enjoy improving our home and working around the house. We walk or jog 3 miles every night with our neighbors down the street. Our family and friends are overjoyed about our decision to adopt and are as excited as we are for a child to be part of our life. We are very happy about the reality of becoming parents. Your decision to give life can make this dream come true for us. We promise that your child will have a safe, stable and loving environment and that we will ensure she/he has every opportunity to achieve their hopes and dreams.
