Adopting Parent Profiles

You have a wonderful opportunity to make a decision that will affect you and your baby in a very positive way. If you decide to place your child for adoption, you are taking a positive step. Adoption is a loving, selfless way for you to provide for the protection, training, and loving care of your child when your own circumstances may not make that possible.

As you begin to use this website to look at the profiles of potential adopting parents, remember that these couples have all been screened and have taken parenting classes to help prepare them for the responsibility of parenting. You may want to make a list of qualities that are important to you when considering an adopting family. For example, religious beliefs, whether or not the adopting mother will work outside of the home, or if there are already other children in the family.
